Beware of the banks’ “bait & switch” loan modification practices

By Timothy Stull (http://www.fresh-start.co)

I have written on this topic before.  However, I do feel that this problem is getting worse.  Many banks are still offering “teaser” temporary loan modifications.  They promise to make the loan modification whole once you complete the temporary payments.  However, the bank never has any intention of offering a permanent modification.  They simply use the teaser modification as a ploy to collect money.  We receive many calls daily from distressed home owners who have lost their home to foreclosure….all of them were involved in temporary loan modification.  It is important to identify what stage of the foreclosure process you are actually in.  You will need apply appropriate measures of foreclosure defense in order to protect your rights.  The absolute best measure of foreclosure defense will come from an attorney.  The Fresh Start Legal Network can certainly set you up with an attorney that will protect from foreclosure.  Please visit our web site at www.FRSLN.com or call us at 877.297.7011.
